All you need to register yourself onto MEDTRACK Online is your First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth and Member Reference Number (Shelf Drilling Employee ID number) as registered with Shelf Drilling.Please note that you must be active in the Medtrack program to register. If you are not able to register, contact your HR department.

Once you Register and obtain your login details you will be able to gain access to your fitness certificate and health summary.

ATTEND MEDTRACK Exam

Every three years the full MEDTRACK examination keeps you and the company informed of your fitness to work status by providing you with a company paid medical examination. The medical information is forwarded to International SOS and stored into their confidential and secure medical database. Medical information is available only to medical professionals involved in evaluating the examination results and in the event of a medical emergency where such information could be life saving.

The two most common types of exams are the periodic exam and the follow-up exam:

Periodic Exam: This exam is performed once every three years to provide an update on the employee’s health status.It is also to ensure the reduction of health risk. For the periodic exam, you will receive a notification letter when it is time for you to attend your exam.You will need to schedule your exam and take a copy of the health check form with you to your appointment.

Follow-up: A follow-up exam may be required following the initial exam if there is an area of concern (this can vary in severity, the severity also determines whether the employee will be allowed on the rig till follow-up or only after they are cleared). You will receive a notification from International SOS Medtrack department stating your fitness level and the timeframe required to complete the follow-up. You will need to contact the MEDTRACK desk by phone to discuss the issue and the required follow-up. The MEDTRACK desk will guide you and supply referral letters if needed.

There are a number of helpful documents and required forms on the Medtrack website.Once notified, it's your responsibility to obtain the necessary documentation from the MEDTRACK online site https://healthonline.internationalsos.com/clients/ShelfDrilling -to view and download all necessary documents for your Medtrack exam.

Preparing for MEDTRACK exam letter will provide you with the information that you need prior to your exam
The following forms should be reviewed and taken with you for your periodic MEDTRACK
1. MEDTRACK Introduction letter (explaining the program)
2. MEDTRACK Participant Exam Procedures (explaining the overall process)
3. MEDTRACK Exam Form (Compulsory form that must be completed and taken with to you medical examination)
4. MEDTRACK Recommended vaccinations (letter that must be taken with to you medical examination including your personal vaccination records, if available)
Approved Medical Providers
1. This list contains the information for all of the Medtrack approved providers. Medtrack exams must be performed at one of these providers, which are near Shelf Drilling offices and crew change locations.
Payment for the MEDTRACK exam

Once you receive your MEDTRACK due notification, you will need to schedule your appointment. You can either contact the provider directly or contact the MEDTRACK desk to schedule your appointment. The contact information for all MEDTRACK providers is on the Approved Providers list.

The Approved MEDTRACK providers are educated on the MEDTRACK examination process and will get the proper authorization and guarantee of payment from the MEDTRACK desk, if needed. You should never have to pay for a Periodic MEDTRACK.

FITNESS CERTIFICATE & HEALTH SUMMARY

You will be able to view your MEDTRACK examination results once you have logged in to the Medtrack website. The results of your examination will be posted on the site approximately three weeks after you complete your MEDTRACK exam.

There will be two reports available on the MEDTRACK online site:

Fitness certificate – indicating the MEDTRACK Fitness Level you fall under and when your certificate expires (see more detailed description of the categories under FAQ - What does the MEDTRACK fitness level mean?)
Health Summary – providing you with a summary of your exam results, MEDTRACK fitness level and where applicable, recommendations.

MY LIFE CHECK

The AHA has put together a number of very exciting and useful heart health educational & awareness tools. We would like to put full emphasis on My Life Check™ and The Simple 7™.

My Life Check™ is a Heart Risk Calculator based on the great expertise and knowledge of the AHA. You simply need to enter your "Numbers" (Blood Pressure, BMI, Cholesterol etc. provided in your Medtrack results) and some key features of your current lifestyle.
The Simple 7™ provides the educational resources and know-how to address each of the Simple 7 "Heart Health Factors" that determine your final heart health scoring.
